After deep reflection, we have decided to cancel all gatherings at La Basse Cour, including farm stays, farm tours,
events, and workshops until there is more certainty about Covid 19.

Our eggs and yarn are for sale in our milk house, and our vegetables in season on our farm stand.
Please practice social distancing and wear your mask if you come to the farm. You may read our Covid 19 Safety Plan for more information.

We will be none the less busy, tending the land and animals entrusted to our care.
See what we're up to by following us on Facebooksubscribing to our newsletter, and reading our blog posts.
You are in our thoughts and we look forward to sharing many joyful events at La Basse Cour.

Musical Moments in The Carriage House with Mike Herman

mikeherman.JPGGather for an evening of music with Mike Herman in The Carriage House at La Basse Cour on Monday, September 28 from 6:30-9pm, as part of our Musical Moments series.

Mike Herman is a Country Blues musician from Schoharie county in the Northern Catskills.   69464209_2363628797023475_1318110331972616192_n.jpgMike's songs have a real down home, danceable quality to them. His rural tinged lyrics, bouncy melodies and solid fingerpicked guitar reflects his deep Piedmont Blues influences and the love he has for the Country Blues.   Along with tasty guitar lines, the addition of bitter  sweet vocals roundout his songs nicely.

Musical Moments happen on select Monday evenings through the summer and fall featuring local players in an intimate setting on our farm La Basse Cour. They are pot luck & BYOBs, so bring a dish and a drink to share with friends and neighbors beginning at 6:30pm; music starts at 7:30. Free an open to the public, with a tip jar for our musicians.
