Musical Moments in the Carriage House with TOOTS

Gather for an evening of music with TOOTS in The Carriage House at La Basse Cour on Monday, July 20 from 6:30-9pm, as part of our Musical Moments series.   

“Toots”, Dick Vollkommer and Jill Tannone, have been making music together for 2 years. They met singing in an A Cappella doo wop group for 10 years. After this group dis banded they decided to try their hand at making music as a duo. Jill sings and Dick plays guitar and sings. He had the first Rock n’ Roll group in the Delaware County area in the 60’s. “Toots” has an eclectic range of covers from Radiohead, Leonard Cohen, Blondie, Amy Winehouse, George Harrison and many more. They enjoy making a version of any song that ‘speaks’ to them.

Musical Moments happen on select Monday evenings through the summer and fall featuring local players in an intimate setting on our farm La Basse Cour. They are pot luck & BYOBs, so bring a dish and a drink to share with friends and neighbors beginning at 6:30pm; music starts at 7:30. Free and open to the public, with a tip jar for our musicians.
